• The resources pack (one for each STP) brings together a range of information and data to build a shared understanding about the local population and the communities in which they live, the wider local context affecting health and wellbeing, and specific aspects related to the delivery of local health and care services.

What Works Wellbeing

• A wide ranging collection of data sources, including ONS, NatCen Social Research, LSE, Cabinet Office, and other government departments.
• The What Works Wellbeing website also includes a range of tools to support measurement of wellbeing. A member of the What Works network.

FutureNHS platform

• An index of the different types of support currently offered by NHS England, NHS Improvement and other national bodies such as Health Education England and the Local Government Association. The aim is to connect systems, providers and individuals with organisations that offer support for system working, and to link systems with relevant support to improve health and care in an effective and sustainable way.
• This database is hosted on the FutureNHS platform and can be accessed by any FutureNHS user. To request access email england.deliveryunit@nhs.net.

A directory of support for the New Care Models

• A really useful directory of the organisations supporting the Five Year Forward View.
• Includes arm’s length bodies (eg NHS England groups, CQC, NICE, Monitor) and some of the voluntary sector strategic partners. 
• The Directory will be updated in April 2016.

• Guidance to support health and care leaders in navigating the local agencies and organisations responsible for regulating and improving the quality of health and care services.
• Chapter 4 outlines organisations and agencies, providers and commissioners, which are responsible for ensuring quality.
• Annex A looks at five major health and care services; in each case, it explains who is involved in assuring the quality of these services, and suggests useful questions that could be asked by those responsible for the strategic oversight and scrutiny of those services. 
• Annex B gives two case studies of where overview and scrutiny committees have developed their work and improved their partnership working. 
• Annex C details about legal frameworks and accountabilities.
