- An analysis of how England compares to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States in publishing information on quality of care, patient experience and outcomes.
- The selected transparency metrics were:
- Is a rating for overall quality and safety of care published for each major hospital?
- Is a rating for overall quality of care published for each GP surgery?
- Is rating for overall quality published for each residential care home?
- Is rating for overall quality published for each home care provider?
- Are individual consultant outcomes published? (i.e. patient mortality rates)
