- A discussion of the increasing use of lead provider (aka prime contractor) contracts by CCGs with particular reference to the Bedfordshire CCG MSK pathway contract recently awarded to Circle. The contract replaces 20 contracts previously used across primary, secondary and community services.
- Under the prime contractor model a contractor receives an outcomes based payment to integrate an entire care pathway.
