A new customer platform for the NHS

NHS Integrated Customer Service Platform
A new platform under development by NHS England
  • This new platform, due to be launched during 2013, will include directories of service, health information, ways to feedback about care experiences, and ways to transact with the NHS, for example by booking appointments. It will also include a library of also be able to help people find the high quality digital apps and tools. 
  • The platform is based on: 
    • Transparency - Service directories - Provider comparisons - NHS Choices condition information 
    • Transactions -Online record access - Booked appointments - Repeat prescriptions 
    • Participation -Real time multi-channel feedback - Networks of patients and citizens
