- Statutory guidance on inter-agency working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children including Working together to safeguard children 2018 (replacing 2015 version) and Working together: transitional guidance (explains how to move to the new arrangements).
- The stated changes in the Government’s announcement cover six key areas including new duties on CCGs and councils to carry out reviews of child deaths, instead of children’s services, in line with evidence that only a small number of these incidents relate to safeguarding concerns;
