- This paper highlights changes proposed to NHS England’s internal delegation arrangements, which will enable GM H&SC ‘go-live’ on 1 April 2016.
- Delegation arrangements include:
- CCG establishment, merger, dissolution will be retained by NHS England except those currently exercised by DCO
- CCG guidance and support will be retained by NHS England except local assistance in relation to continuous improvement in the quality of primary medical care
- All responsibilities relating to running CSUs will be delegated
- Information governance functions/obligations will be retained except for collection and analysis of information re safety
- All responsibility around GP appraisal and revalidation will be delegated
