- This reports explore the issues facing people living with poverty, homelessness, drug or alcohol addiction, severe mental illness and/or who are ex-offenders. It is based on interviews with nine socially excluded people between the ages of 50 and 73 years, and seven professionals who work in this specialist field. The report highlights the numbers of socially excluded older people and the fact that services too often lack the specialist skills and resources to meet their needs.
