- Every health and care system is required by planning guidance (Delivering the Forward View: NHS planning guidance 2016/17 to 2020/2) to produce its own sustainability and transformation plan (STP) for October 2016 to March 2021. Systems are required to agree their transformation footprint (the geographic scope of their STP) by 29 January 2016,
- Monitor has prepared geographical maps and resources that may help discussions the different parties determine their planning footprints
