- A new partnership has been established between NHS England and Fire and Rescue Services (FRSs) to use their resources to support older people and those with long-term conditions.
- The new ‘Consensus Statement‘ between NHS England, Public Health England, Local Government Association Chief Fire Officers Association and Age UK, encourages local commissioners and FRSs to carry out more ‘Safe and Well’ checks in people’s homes when they visit.
- A set of principles for a ‘Safe and Well’ visit has also been published.
